Feng
Shui and Buddha Placement
Problem:
Mr
Chow was facing financial difficulties with his
business. An honest and hardworking man, he treated
his staffs and clients well. But despite however
hard he works to bring in business deals, the wealth
just doesn't stay and gradually cash flow wasn't
enough to cover the business expenses (clearly the
business was losing money).
A
believer in feng shui, he engaged the services of
a feng shui master when setting up his company,
an auspicious date selected for the opening of his
business. The very first month see poor business
flow and business remained bad. Even though during
certain months, there were some big business deals
but then again, money would be gone in no time.
Mr Chow was worried and being a strong believer
in feng shui, it naturally hit him if something
was wrong with the feng shui of his company. Through
advice and recommendation from his friend (a customer
of mine), he decided to seek a second opinion.
I
visited Mr Chow's 2 storey building office and found
no major problems with the feng shui layout of his
office (it was pretty well done up). I asked Mr
Chow for the auspicious date and timing that was
given for his business opening and it was indeed
good in view of the company and also Mr Chow's personal
birth data.
What
went wrong? In professional conscientiousness as
feng shui masters, when something goes wrong, for
sure something somewhere must be wrong. I assessed
carefully every corners and close in on the placement
of the Buddha altar and God of Wealth statue being
the likely cause.
"How
long has the Buddha altar and the God of Wealth
statue been placed in here?" I asked Mr Chow. He
replied that they were placed in together when setting
up the business, the feng shui master he engaged
advises him on these locations as the best positions.
"Pardon my asking Mr Chow, your business suffered
bad financial loss during the year 2014, worst typically
around the period of May and Jun?" He replied that
things were indeed the case, business was still
manageable the other months but May and Jun period
see great financial loss and he admitted he made
a careless mistake that causes the business a huge
sum of money which is hard to cover back.
With
the honest reply from Mr Chow, I confirmed what
went wrong. I told Mr Chow that the feng shui layout
of his office is alright except for the placement
of the Buddha altar and the God of Wealth statue
which was wrong. Being a devoted Buddhist, "Isn't
Buddha there to bless you even if placed wrongly
as long as you are sincere?" he asked. "In Buddhism
teachings, yes", I replied. But then again, you
must also make sure that they are placed in locations
of reverence. Picture a basketball player being
placed in a soccer team, would he be able to perform?"
Solution:
I
could feel that Mr Chow is somewhat still doubtful.
Nonetheless, I advise him on the locations for the
placement for the Buddha altar and the God of Wealth
statue and provided him an auspicious timing within
that week.
He
added that he also has a Buddha altar and God of
Wealth statue back at his home which was placed
as advised by the feng shui master he engaged, asking
if I would be able to help him reassess his house's
feng shui. I visited Mr Chow at his place the following
day. On assessment, amazingly it was the same case
for his home i.e. all else was alright except for
the placement of the Buddha altar and the God of
Wealth statue. Correspondingly, I advise Mr Chow
on the placement of the Buddha altar and God of
Wealth statue.
Result:
A week
passed by and Mr Chow called me saying he felt some
improvement. I told him not to go into too much
thought and wait for another week to see if things
really improve. The following week, he called and
updated that he closes a big business deal and he
could see that things are improving. Mr Chow continues
to witness improvement and his business has been
since doing well.
Comments:
Feng Shui is never about religion but still, the
placement of regarded statues (Buddha/God of Wealth
etc) is important, they must be placed in locations
of reverence i.e. how can the gods bless and protect
you when they are not properly settled in. The wrong
placement of them can bring about undesired influences
to the occupants.
